Asphalt Plant
R.J. Noble Company's Asphalt Batch Plants make asphalt in 4-ton batches that are mixed in a pug mill. Aggregate feed from cold feed silos is put through dryer were moisture is taken out of the aggregate and the aggregate is heated to the proper mix temperature. After the aggregate is finished with the heating process it dropped onto a screening deck were the aggregate is screened into the proper sized aggregate bins. Aggregate bins are sized from ¾ inch down to ¼ inch. The material in the bins is weighed into the proper proportions then is dropped into the pug mill where it is mixed with asphalt oil. After the material is thoroughly mixed it is dropped onto a truck to be transported to the job.
This process allows our plants to switch between mixes with relative ease. R.J. Noble produces a wide variety of asphalt mixes. From Temporary Asphalt to Polymer Modified Asphalt and in sizes from ¾ inch to ¼ inch. We are dedicated to producing quality long lasting asphalt every day.
Cedar Rapids Crusher
R.J. Noble Company began a Portable crushing operation in October of 2005. Our portable crusher has the capability of crushing between 300 to 400 tons of aggregate per hour. This crusher currently produces Crushed Aggregate Base (CAB) and Class II Aggregate Base. These products serve as Sub-Grade for streets and new developments around Orange County and the Inland Empire. When available the plant is able to move in, set up, and begin crushing material at job sites, anywhere in California, usually within a week. The R.J. Noble Company’s portable crusher is one of the largest portable crusher’s in Southern California and can clear large stockpiles of Aggregate and other construction materials into a useable product in a short amount of time.
