Security Guard, Night Shift
The security guard is responsible for securing premises, monitoring personnel and patrolling various properties by inspecting buildings, yards and continuously monitoring surveillance equipment. Utilizes company protocols for emergency response.
Duties and responsibilities
- Patrols and monitors assigned areas; reports suspicious activities based on company protocols.
- Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects properties.
- Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency.
- After business hours checks doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure.
- Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property.
- Maintains a visual of persons suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives.
- Escorts discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises.
- Monitors and records after hours inbound material.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Authoritative verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings.
Required Education / Experience / Other
Education:
- High School level education or G.E.D.
Experience:
- 6 months to one year of relevant experience
- Security guard training certification preferred
Other:
- Must have a valid driver license
- Must have no criminal background
